The Simpson Bay Causeway connects the Princess Juliana International Airport with the East side of the Simpson Bay Lagoon.
The causeway has a total span of 760m and provides users with a modern two-way lanes and a protected bicycle and walking trail. A steel swing bridge situated in the middle of the Causeway allows ships to pass in both direction.


Technical inspection of structural safety aspect of the design, engineering and As Built Dossier.
SECO's assignement also includes the technical inspection of the foundations, the concrete and steel constructions already implemented.
