The “Maison du Savoir” is the main building of the new Luxembourg University Campus.

Due to its architecture and the appropriated distance to the surrounding volumes, the building is considered as the sculptural shape of the area.

The building contains 3 basement floors, 5 floors above ground and topped by a tower of 20 floors.

The storeys above ground are mainly used as auditoriums and administrative and educational offices.

Technical particularities:

  • Important cantilever (26m) out of prestressed concrete
  • 20 floors tower
  • Far-reaching precast and prestressed slabs (14m)
  • Important distances without expansion joints
