Aquatower Berdorf

Berdorf’s new water tower called Aquatower has a height of 55m, occupies a circular ground area of 150m² and features two concentric tanks with a capacity of 250m³ each. It is partly accessible to the public and houses a permanent water and geology exhibition, and a public viewpoint on the top floor. The structure is made of traditional massive construction method (concrete), covered by stainless steel rings and wooden cladding.

After 3 years of construction time, the Municipality of Berdorf took possession of the water tower in April 2015.

SECOLUX has been in charge of the technical inspection in the scope of a decennial insurance and ensured the mission as notified body by ITM and SNSFP.
